Fetoscopic Placental Laser Therapy for Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS)
Twins or higher order identical multiple pregnancies who share a common placenta (monochorionic placenta) have a 10-15% risk of developing TTTS due to abnormal blood vessel connections between the fetuses.
