Welcome to the Fetal Medicine Unit at St Michael’s Hospital in Bristol! We are the regional referral fetal medicine unit for the South West of England and South Wales.

We are a dedicated team of doctors, midwives and administration staff whose passion is to provide highly specialised care to pregnant women from all over the South West of England and South Wales.

Most pregnancies result in the birth of a healthy baby, but for some pregnant women, developments happen during their pregnancy that need specialist care.
